The new season has begun in Italy and we can say from the two matchdays so far that it will be one of the tightest campaigns. Perennial champions Juventus have strengthened remarkably well but Inter Milan have made the most radical changes and Napoli have a solid unit.
Last season was a walk in the park for Juventus as they were able to wrap the league title as early as March with the gap built against the chasing pack.
However, this year could be difficult due to the arrival of Maurizio Sarri and the bloated squad size. Sarri has his work full with the likes of Dybala and Higuain speculated to leave still on the club stables. His style of play also takes time to work but with the quality he possesses within the team, he should be able to succeed.
Napoli are the team that have played bridesmaid to Juventus in the past few seasons and the Naples outfit look stronger this season. With the likes of KalidouKoulibaly and Kostas Manolas at the back, Napoli have perhaps one of the best center defensive pairing in Europe.
The signing of Hirving Lozano should also create more options in attack for wily coach Ancelotti to pick from. Looking at the Milan clubs, Inter look more likely to challenge more than city rivals AC Milan. Antonio Conte is a battle-tested coach and has been tasked with reviving the Nerazzurri.
Despite the departure of Mauro Icardi, the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and RomeluLukaku compensates for his exit. AC Milan meanwhile have an outsider chance with the likes of Piatek and Suso able to produce quality performances.
